Wood

We provide class sessions to students and staff to encourage them to work with their hands, to build confidence, and to enhance their skills.

Students learn the basics of how to cut wood, join wood, and how to build a stable structure.

Our objective is to teach them how to use tools correctly and safely. They have an opportunity to use different types of saws (Japanese or smaller hand saw) which is easier to control with supervision. In addition, we do have other power tools to use.

Skill and technicality is developed with practice, and it is one skill everyone would like to benefit in their life!
