The one and only #PFT is here to support and inform you what is happening around the RCHK community!
Primary Film Team is an opportunity for Year 5 students to explore the Media world and learn how to be leaders and work as a team.
During their Year 4 time, they learn how to create visual stories by using educational technology tools such as: Stop Motion, Book Creator, iMovie and Google Slides.
Once they are in Year 5, they have a tutorial on how to use cameras, tripods and microphones, how to use a green screen room (Kubrick), what type of shots there are and many more! They have a weekly responsibility to film what is happening within the RCHK community, and share it to the Primary students during their morning sessions.
How to join #PFT?
Students apply at the end of Year 4 by creating a short clip or a comic strip on why they should be part of the team
Once they have been selected, they will be given 101 lesson on:
- how to use a camera, tripod, microphone
- how to create different shots
- how to use iMovie
- how to create a movie
They have weekly responsibility to participate during their lunch break to film what is going on in the RCHK community and showcase it to Primary Students in their Morning Communications.
