Red Door has several learning spaces that are available for student and teacher use, both during formal classroom and after school.

  • Teachers can book all of the spaces directly through the school facilities booking system using their school network login and password.
  • Students need to have a supervising member of staff who will make a booking for them.

Ada 1 and Ada 2

This is an interconnected multipurpose room made of two part using an easy to use but sound proof partition with flexible furniture that can be rearranged in minutes or removed all together. Each room can comfortably hold 30 people sitting at a table or 50 in a seminar layout with no tables.

Kubrick

This is a semi professional recording studio complete with curved white screen, large green screen and lighting system. This area is managed by Mr Jørgen Mortensen – here are procedures explaining what is required before, during and after use.

It is possible to book Kubrick as a general meeting space – please book through the school facilities booking system as explained above. It can hold a meeting of maximum 20.

The room is named after Stanley Kubrick, a film maker best known for 2001: A Space Odyssey and his contribution to visual effects and futuristic envisioning of artificial intelligence.

Pudovkin

Is the open space area located just outside Kubric recording studio dedicated to pre (for example storyboarding)  and post production. We have 12 high-end iMacs with Final Cut Pro and Motion installed. Students and teachers are very welcome to use the editing suite.

This area is named after Vsevolod Pudovkin one of the Soviet fathers of theories of montage.

Pappert

This is an open space area designed for robotics and making space. It is named after a great educator Seymour Pappert, a farther of constructionism.

It is possible to book Pappert as a general meeting space – please book through the school facilities booking system as explained above.
